Brunswick School’s lacrosse team concluded another season that was outstanding and memorable last month, registering a record of 17-1, while advancing to the title game of the Prep Nationals tournament. Numerous athletes powered the Bruins along their way toward achieving their spectacular season and a group of players earned All-America and All-NEPSAC honors.
The talented trio of Hudson Hausmann, Luke Hublitz and Robert Plath earned All-American honors for the Bruins after producing standout seasons. Hausmann, a 2024 graduate, helped propel Brunswick’s potent offense. He led the team in goals and consistently powered the team’s scoring attack throughout the season.
Hausmann will continue his lacrosse career at Brown University. One of Hausmann’s many dynamic efforts came in the semifinal-round of the Prep Nationals tournament when he scored four goals in Brunswick’s 12-6 win over Salisbury School.

Also a 2024 graduate, Hublitz, who will play lacrosse at the University of Virginia, was a mainstay on defense for the Bruins. Like Hausmann, Hublitz served as a senior captain during the 2024 season.
Plath, who also graduated from Brunswick last month, will take his lacrosse skills to Georgetown University. The Bruins were one of the toughest teams to score against this past season with Plath and Hublitz anchoring the defense.
Payton Anderson, a midfielder/attack, also ignited Brunswick’s offense, scoring and creating a wealth of goals for the squad throughout his senior season and his career. He received New Balance All-American accolades. Anderson will compete at Syracuse University next season.

Hausmann, Casey Quinson (2024 graduate, 2024 captain), Plath, Hublitz and junior Aidan Diaz-Matos each earned All League honors, while Hausmann, Hublitz and Plath received All-NEPSAC recognition.
Additionally, Hausmann (midfielder), Diaz-Matos (FOGO) and Plath (defender) received League position awards. The Bruins finished the season ranked No. 2 in the USA Lacrosse High School Boys National Top 25 Rankings.
