Daryl Furno, Keira Young earn USA Lacrosse Academic All-America honors

Keira Young (No. 23) received All-Academic USA Lacrosse honors. Young is a 2023 Greenwich High School graduate.

Greenwich High School 2023 graduates Daryl Furno and Keira Young each earned USA Lacrosse All-American Academic honors for the 2023 season.

Furno was the Cardinals’ starting goalie, a role she excelled at throughout the season. Young was a starter on Greenwich’s defensive unit, which made it difficult for the opposition to generate and create goals all season.

A defender, Young also served as one of the Cardinals’ senior captains and she provided leadership to the team on and off the field. Furno rose to the occasion throughout the season, making key saves in several postseason games for Greenwich, which advanced to the semifinal-round of the FCIAC Tournament and CIAC Class L Tournament.

Young also received All-FCIAC Second Team honors.
