Brunswick 2023 graduates Tomas Delgado, Leo Hoffman, Andrew Greenspan, Hunter Spiess selected to compete in 18th annual Senior All-America Lacrosse Game

After excelling on the Brunswick School lacrosse team as seniors this past spring, Tomas Delgado, Leo Hoffman, Andrew Greenspan and Hunter Spiess will showcase their skills at the 18th annual Senior All-America Lacrosse Game.

The 2023 Brunswick graduates were selected to compete in the Senior All-America Lacrosse Game, which will be held on July 29 at John Hopkins University’s Homewood Field.

The girls’ All-America Senior Lacrosse Game is scheduled to be held on July 29 at 5:30 p.m. and the boys’ game is slated to begin afterward at 8 p.m. Both All-America games will be televised on ESPNU.

Inside Lacrosse and Corrigan Sports Enterprises recently announced the rosters for the boys and girls Senior High School All-America games. Inside Lacrosse selected the rosters, which includes 44 players for both the boys and girls games.

Delgado, a midfielder who will play for Duke University, served as one of the captains of the Bruins this spring. He helped ignite the offense for Brunswick, which finished its 2023 campaign with a record of 13-4 and advanced to the title game of the National Prep Championship, where it was edged by Lawrenceville School, 14-13, in double overtime.

Among some of the numerous outstanding games for Delgado this past season were a four-goal, three-assist performance in the Bruins’ 21-10 win over Deerfield Academy, a hat trick in a season-opening 14-6 victory against St. Sebastian’s School and a two-goal, four-assist effort in the National Prep Championship semifinals versus Salisbury School – a 15-9 triumph.

Also a midfielder, Hoffman will continue his lacrosse career at the University of Pennsylvania. He too, was difficult for the opposition to defend throughout the season.

Some of his Hoffman’s efforts this past season featured a two-goal, three-assist game against Deerfield and a one-goal, three-assist performance versus Salisbury in the National Prep tournament.

Greenspan, a FOGO, will further his lacrosse career at Notre Dame. He established himself as one of the premier faceoff specialists in the nation.

Throughout the 2023 season, Greenspan consistently enabled the Bruins to possess the ball by winning key faceoffs. He set up numerous goals in transition after winning faceoffs.

Spiess was one of Brunswick’s senior captains, a role he embraced. A defender, Spiess helped anchor the Bruins’ defensive unit, providing lockdown defensive play during the entire season.

He will play lacrosse at Princeton University. Brunswick was ranked No. 5 in the 2023 Nike/USA Lacrosse National Boys Top 25 High School rankings.
