Brunswick School’s football team celebrated Senior Night in style last Saturday, earning a decisive 24-0 win over Trinity-Pawling at Cosby.
With the Northeast Prep League victory, the Bruins evened their season record at 4-4 with one game remaining.

Senior Hudson Hausmann opened the game with a 70-yard kickoff return to set the Bruins’ offense up with great field position. Only two plays later, fellow senior quarterback Elijah Cromartie ran 13 yards into the end zone. Junior Oliver Reynolds kicked the extra point, giving the Bruins a 7-0 lead.
On the third drive of the first quarter, Cromartie threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to junior Tyler Lloyd. Reynolds converted the ensuing PAT and the Bruins seized a 14-0 advantage on Trinity-Pawling.

The Bruins entered halftime with a 17-0 lead on Trinity-Pawling, courtesy of Reynolds, who kicked a 28-yard field goal.
The first drive for Brunswick in the second half was a three-play drive that ended with a 16-yard TD pass from Cromartie to junior wide receiver Jaylen Noisette. Reynolds split the uprights for successful PAT, making it 24-0.

Brunswick hopes to get its fifth game of the season and finish its 2023 campaign over .500 when it hosts Williston-Northampton School from Massachusetts on Saturday at 4 p.m., in a Northeast Prep matchup.
