Greenwich High’s boys lacrosse team doubles-up Stamford High, 12-6

Receiving goals from six players, the Greenwich High School boys lacrosse team topped host Stamford, 12-6, in an FCIAC game held on Tuesday.

The Cardinals were propelled on offense by Colin Zeller. Zeller registered a game-high five goals and added two assists for the Cardinals.

Jimmy Flinn recorded two goals and two assists, while Boden Farmer had one goal and three assists in the winning effort. Mikey Brescia and Jake Duda contributed one goal and one assist apiece for Greenwich, which was also paced offensively by Adam Kim (one goal) and Lane Critchell (one goal).

For Greenwich goalies Jack Hamel and Ilan Amaro made eight and seven saves, respectively. Critchell also won eight faceoffs in the road victory at Stamford High School.
