Greenwich High School’s boys lacrosse team celebrated its Senior Night in style, rolling to an 18-0 win over Norwalk High School in an FCIAC game held on May 8 at Cardinal Stadium.
“It was nice being out there with (Norwalk coaches) Paul Burke and Chris Parisi again,” Greenwich coach Bobby Lutz said. “But unfortunately, Norwalk is too young and inexperienced right now. It was Senior Night, so it was a nice game to honor the Class of ’24 and get them maximum playing time.”

For Greenwich in its conference matchup against Norwalk, senior Mateo Suppo scored a team-best three goals. Senior Andrue Borelli totaled two goals and one assist, while Jake Duda, also a senior, tallied twice for the Cardinals.
Junior Conrad Burki had one goal and three assists for Greenwich, which improved its record to 8-6 overall. Mike Brescia, a junior, had one goal and one assist, as did senior Adam Kim and sophomore Boden Farmer for the Cardinals.

Senior George Weiksner, junior Colin Zeller, senior Hunter Merritt, senior George Nahm, Trent O’Neil, a senior, Lucas Marks (senior) and Thomas Ybarra, a senior, each added a goal in the winning effort.
Seniors Jimmy Flinn and Lane Critchell each assisted on a goal for the Cardinals in their Senior Night triumph against the Bears.

Lane Critchell was perfect on faceoffs for the Cards, winning all 11 he took, while junior teammate Dylan Botoff was 5 for 6 on faceoffs.
Up next for Greenwich is a game against FCIAC rival on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Cardinal Stadium.
