With the season winding down, Sacred Heart Greenwich’s Varsity A lacrosse team sports a sparkling record, while playing a challenging schedule.
The Tigers have a record of 10-3 heading into Saturday’s road game against The Taft School, with their most recent win coming against a tough Chatham High School team – a 7-6 triumph. Sacred Heart traveled to Darien High School on Wednesday to play the perennial powerhouse Blue Wave and gave the hosts all they could handle.

Sacred Heart was defeated by Darien, 9-7, in an intense matchup. The Tigers and Blue Wave always have tight matchups and Wednesday’s game was close throughout.
Senior midfielder Maggie Bacigalupo, senior midfielder/attack/captain Payton Sfreddo and senior midfielder Kaitlin Robinson scored two goals apiece to pace Sacred Heart’s offense versus Darien.
Junior midfielder Charley Bacigalupo added one goal for the Tigers in their game against the Blue Wave.
