Following a tough loss to Darien in a close game, the Sacred Heart Greenwich Varsity A lacrosse team got right back on the winning track, topping Taft School, 12-8, in Watertown, Conn., on May 11.
The Tigers are in action again tomorrow, as they will host NEPSAC foe Hotchkiss School in their last home game of the season.

In Sacred Heart’s 12-8 triumph over Taft, junior midfielder Charley Bacigalupo scored a team-best four goals to pace the Tigers. Senior Payton Sfreddo recorded a hat trick, while Lila O’Brien, also a senior, scored two goals to also power Sacred Heart’s offense.
Maggie Bacigalupo, a senior, Wowie Walker, also a senior and Georgia Lillis, a sophomore, tallied one goal apiece for Sacred Heart, which improved its record to 11-3 on the season.
