Following a successful season in which it won the FAA Tournament title, the Greenwich Academy Varsity A lacrosse team had numerous athletes receive All-NEPSAC honors.
Dylan Casazza, a 2024 Greenwich Academy graduate, earned All-NEPSAC accolades after producing another outstanding spring lacrosse season. Casazza, who will continue her lacrosse career at Princeton University, amassed 101 points on the season, helping lead the Gators to the FAA Tournament championhship.
An attack, Casazza reached and eclipsed the 100 point total for the 2024 season in GA’s 12-5 win over School of the Holy Child in the FAA Tournament final.

In Greenwich Academy’s 12-5 triumph against Holy Child in the FAA Tournament final, Casazza powered the team with five goals and two assists. It was one of many impressive offensive games for Casazza this season and during her distinguished lacrosse career at GA.
Casazza also received USA Lacrosse Connecticut All-Academic honors this year, providing leadership as a captain on the field and in the classroom.
Katie Barr, who recently concluded her junior year at Greenwich Academy, was presented with All-NEPSAC accolades. Barr, who plays attack, also helped propel Greenwich Academy’s offense this past season.

Barr scored five goals in GA’s victory over Holy Child in the title game of the FAA Tourney and provided the team with a number of clutch goals and plays throughout the season. She has committed to play lacrosse at Dartmouth.
Lila Cabot, a rising senior, received All-NEPSAC Honorable Mention recognition. Cabot helped solidify and lead the Gators’ defense throughout their winning season.
Ruby Montanez, who is also entering her senior season at Greenwich Academy, is also an All-NEPSAC Honorable Mention selection.

A midfielder/defender, Montanez sparked the team in several areas this past spring. She has committed to play lacrosse at University of California Davis. For the season, Greenwich Academy registered an overall record of 12-7 and sported a perfect 8-0 record in the FAA.
