A group of Sacred Heart Greenwich Varsity A lacrosse team athletes recently received USA Lacrosse/CHSCA All-America honors following the team’s outstanding spring season.
Maggie Bacigalupo and Payton Sfreddo, both of whom graduated from Sacred Heart Greenwich in early June, earned 2024 USA Lacrosse/CHSCA All-America honors.
A midfielder, Bacigalupo was a dynamic playmaker throughout the 2024 season and her entire career for the Tigers. She was one of the team’s leading goal scorers and assisted on plenty of goals as well for Sacred Heart.

Sacred Heart finished its 2024 season with a record of 15-3 and concluded its winning campaign ranked No. 16 in the USA Lacrosse High School Girls’ National Top 25 Rankings.
After excelling on the lacrosse field for Sacred Heart, Maggie Bacigalupo will continue her lacrosse career at Princeton University.
Sfreddo, a midfielder/attack, propelled Sacred Heart’s offense her whole career. She was difficult for each opponent to defend, scored a wealth of goals during her career and always had a knack for generating goals at key moments.

Sfreddo, who served as one of the Tigers’ senior captains this past spring, is headed to the University of Virginia, where she is excited to further her lacrosse career.
Robinson, who also filled the role as one of Sacred Heart’s senior captains this past spring, received USA Lacrosse All-Academic recognition. A midfielder/attack, Robinson produced many highlight-reel moments for the Tigers, while helping lead the program to victory.

Duke University is the next stop for Robinson, who is eagerly anticipating testing her lacrosse skills at the successful Division I program.
A rising senior, Charlie Bacigalupo, Maggie’s sister, achieved USA Lacrosse All-Academic accolades as well.

Charley Bacigalupo has committed to play lacrosse at the University of Notre Dame. A midfielder, she too was a potent offensive player who helped make Sacred Heart a team that created plenty of goals throughout the season.
