
Following a successful 2024 season, Greenwich Country Day School’s girls lacrosse team had a number of its athletes receive All-NEPSAC and All-FAA honors for their impressive accomplishments on the field throughout the recently concluded spring season.
Ella Wilner, a rising senior, received All-NEPSAC Class B honors. Wilner was Greenwich Country Day School’s leading scorer this past season and has been a standout athlete for the Tigers since her freshman season.

Wilner, who powers the Tigers’ attack position, has committed to play Division I lacrosse at Clemson University. She also received All-FAA First Team accolades for the 2024 season. Coached by Caitlin Copelan, Greenwich Country Day advanced to the FAA Tournament semifinals this past season.
Bianca Amen, who is entering her junior season at GCDS, earned All-NEPSAC Honorable Mention recognition. A defender, Amen helped lead the Tigers’ defensive unit throughout the season with her skill and leadership.

Amen was also a 2024 All-FAA First Team selection. A midfielder, Caroline Cabrera was also recognized as an All-NEPSAC Honorable Mention athlete. Cabrera, a rising junior, produced a sparkling sophomore season for the Tigers, displaying her playmaking ability throughout the season.
Additionally, Cabrera is a 2024 First Team All-FAA selection.

Also, Paloma Snisky, who graduated from Greenwich Country Day this spring and midfielder/attack Raela Polanish, who is entering her freshman year, were All-FAA Second Team selections.
