Greenwich Academy’s swimming/diving team enjoyed a season to remember this past winter, winning the team title at the FAA Championships, then placing an impressive second at the NEPSAC Division I Championships.

One of the numerous races the Gators excelled at all season was the 200-yard medley relay, an event they earned National Swim Coaches Association All-America honors in for the 2023-2024 winter season.

At the NEPSAC Division I Championships on March 2, Greenwich Academy’s Alexandra Moore, Bryce Gold, Rory Keller and Penelope Lazar registered an NISCA All-America time of 1:44.45 in the 200-yard medley relay. Moore, Gold, Keller and Lazar, all of whom were juniors this past season, placed second in the 200 medley relay at the NEPSAC Division I Championships and won the race at the FAA Championships.

The foursome will be seniors on the Greenwich Academy swim team this winter, as they look to continue the program’s successful tradition.
