Greenwich High School girls ice hockey team defeated by Hall-Conard at 2024 Winter Classic in competitive matchup held at Greenwich Skating Club

The Greenwich High School varsity girls ice hockey team hosted its annual Winter Classic game on Dec. 28, at Greenwich Skating Club’s outdoor rink.

The Cardinals, coached by Doug Jebb, played the combined Hall/Conard team in the 2024 Winter Classic at Greenwich Skating Club. In a competitive, back-and-forth game, Hall-Conard won the much-anticipated matchup, 3-0.

Greenwich is in action again on Friday, Jan. 3, when it hosts FCIAC foe Trumbull at Dorothy Hamill Skating Rink at 5 p.m. The Cardinals, captained by seniors Aubrey Roth and Lexi Carino, will play Woodstock Academy on Saturday, Jan. 4, at Pomfret School.
