
After two consecutive losses, the Greenwich High School varsity girls lacrosse team got back on the winning track in impressive fashion, earning a 13-7 victory over Sacred Heart Academy from Long Island at Cardinal Stadium on April 22.
The Cardinals improved their record to 3-3 with the home win. Junior Giselle DiPietro recorded four goals and two assists, while teammate Dillon McFerran, also a junior, registered four goals to lead Greenwich.
Senior Aubrey Roth, one of the Cardinals’ captains, had a hat trick with one assist and junior Sophia DiPietro added one goal and two assists for the victorious Cardinals. Sophomore Lily Nogaki had a goal in the winning effort.

Greenwich plays again tomorrow (April 24) against visiting Ridgefield High School in an FCIAC game at 7 p.m.
The Cardinals will then visit Fox Lane (N.Y.) High School on April 26 at 11:30 a.m.
