
They have enjoyed outstanding athletic careers in their respective sport at Greenwich Academy and soon they will take their skills and talents to the Division I level in college.
In November, this group of 13 student-athletes was honored with a ceremony by Greenwich Academy, which recognized their commitment to play Division I sports at the next level.
Greenwich Academy’s senior student-athletes who have committed to play sports in college at the Division I level include in alphabetical order: Elia Amaro, who is headed to Boston College, where she will compete on the rowing team, Helena Borcherding – Brown University – sailing team, McKenna Brewer – Cornell University, rowing, Leighton Collier – University of Pennsylvania – lacrosse, Grayson Ford – Yale University – diving, Hope Hyde – Stanford University – rowing, Lily Lyons – University of Pennsylvania – cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field, Reese Quinn – University of Richmond – lacrosse, Elisabeth Schmitz – Brown University – rowing, Georgia Schmitz – Columbia University – field hockey, Charli Tompkins – University of Virginia – squash, Mallory Walker – Cornell University – field hockey, Lucy Wayne – Colgate University – rowing.
