
Greenwich High School was certainly well represented on the 2020-21 All-FCIAC Girls Ice Hockey Team.
Senior Delaney Roth was a First Team All-FCIAC Defense selection. Roth, one of the Cardinals’ captains, was a four-year member of the varsity team. She helped lead the Cardinals’ solid defensive effort each of her four seasons on the squad.

Lexi Danielson, a junior, was a Second Team All-FCIAC selection as a forward. Danielson has been one of Greenwich’s leading scorers throughout her three-season varsity career. She will be one of the players relied upon to spark the Cardinals offensively next season.

Hannah Goldenberg, a senior goalie, earned All-FCIAC Second Team honors. Goldenberg registered numerous impressive performances in goal for the Cardinals, who advanced to the FCIAC Tournament semifinals. Also one of the captains, Goldenberg excelled in goal on the team since her freshman season, with her senior year being her best. She registered several shutouts during the Cardinals’ 2020-21 campaign and was a consistent force in goal throughout the season.
Also for Greenwich, junior Tess Marciano, sophomore Caroline Lawrence and senior Emiri Fukuchi were All-FCIAC Honorable Mention selections. Marciano was one of Greenwich’s standout defenders, Lawrence provided clutch scoring and Fukuchi, a team captain, helped solidify the Cardinals’ defense.
