Getting goals from seven players, the Greenwich High School girls lacrosse team posted a 16-3 win over Westhill Tuesday in an FCIAC matchup in Stamford.
Senior attack Delaney Roth registered five goals and one assist to lead the Cardinals (2-1). Sophomore Cece Tauber added three goals and one assist, while senior Grace Collier tallied two goals and one assist. Junior Kaylie Kitselman also had two goals and one assist in the winning effort. Freshman Emma Abbazia also powered the offense, netting two goals and three assists. Abbazia had four draw controls as well.
Sophomore Sophia Neitzell and junior Noelle Johnson added one goal apiece and senior Marielle Povinelli assisted on a goal for the Cardinals, who host Brien McMahon on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
The Cardinals will play visiting Ridgefield on Saturday at 12 p.m., in a key FCIAC game.
