Sacred Heart Greenwich’s lacrosse team won its second straight game on Saturday, rolling to a 16-0 win over Hamden Hall Country Day School in an FAA matchup in New Haven.
The Tigers’ record stands at 7-4 following the victory. Freshman Caroline Fouts registered two goals and one assist, as did sophomore Karina Sethi for Sacred Heart. Payton Sfreddo, a freshman, tallied two goals and six draw controls, junior Franny O’Brien scored twice, freshman Maggie Baciagalupo had one goal and one assist and freshman Kaitlyn Robinson also notched one goal and one assist.
Also pacing Sacred Heart’s offense were senior Grace Lillis (one goal), sophomore Maggie Sullivan (one goal), junior Dylan Drury (two assists), senior Hannah Dempsey (three draw controls), sophomore Mackenzie Coleman (one goal) and senior Mia Cesare (one assist).
Senior Rachel Keefe made two saves in goal for the shutout win. Sophomore Laura O’Connor also made a save in goal. Sacred Heart visits Taft Tuesday, then closes out its season with a home game against Rye Country Day School on Saturday.
