
The All-FCIAC Boys Lacrosse Awards were recently announced and numerous Greenwich players received all-conference accolades.
Senior Will Montesi was an an All-FCIAC First Team selection as a midfielder. Montesi was a threat on both ends of the field throughout the season for Greenwich, which registered a record of 11-6. He provided clutch scoring and was a key playmaker for the Cardinals, who won the FCIAC West title.

Senior Chris Cataldo, who helped spearhead Greenwich’s strong defensive play, earned All-FCIAC First Team recognition as a defender. Montesi and Cataldo, also served as captains of the Cardinals. Junior Bryce Metalios was chosen as a member of the All-FCIAC Second Team as an attack.
Metalios emerged as a premier scorer in the FCIAC and state, tallying goals at an impressive pace throughout the spring. He was the squad’s leading goal scorer in numerous games, as he helped lead the team to victory.

Jimmy O’Malley, also one of the Cards’ captains, earned All-FCIAC Second Team honors. He also keyed Greenwich’s defensive effort. Senior captain John Cataldo, who also ignited the team’s attack and sophomore Brian Collins were All-FCIAC West Team selections.
Jack Cook, who served as a senior captain and junior James Pilc were chosen as members of the All-FCIAC West Team at the midfield position, while sophomore Matthew Trimmer (defense) and junior Roy Knutson (long stick midfielder) received All-FCIAC West recognition. Junior FOGO Quinn Warwick was named to the All-FCIAC West Team as well.

Senior Henry Minchin and juniors Charlie Zola and Flynn Milledge received All-FCIAC Honorable Mention recognition.
