Three Greenwich High School athletes were recently named to the Walter Camp 2021 All-Connecticut High School Football Team.
The Walter Camp All-Connecticut High School Football Team was chosen by a committee of 10 high school football coaches, representing eight conferences in Connecticut.
Logan Galletta, who produced a sensational junior season for Greenwich, earned Walter Camp All-Connecticut High School First Team honors as a special teams player.
Galletta returned two punts and one kickoff for a touchdown this past season for the Cardinals and has several other returns that set the team up in excellent field position. Against Ridgefield, Galletta ran a punt back 65 yards for a touchdown. He returned a kickoff 93 yards to the end zone against St. Joseph and against New Canaan, Galletta took a back 80 yards for a touchdown.
As a wide receiver for the Cardinals, Galletta had 19 receptions for 228 yards and one touchdown. He also recently earned Second Team All-FCIAC Offense accolades.

Greenwich senior Michael Sinisi and junior Jake Kiernan each received Second Team Walter Camp Connecticut Football Team Offense honors. Sinisi started at center since his sophomore season for the Cardinals and provided a strong presence on the offensive line. He also excelled when being asked to play on the defensive line for the Cardinals, bolstering the team’s push up front, as one of the squad’s captains.
Kiernan, an offensive tackle, emerged as one of the anchors of Greenwich’s offensive line and offense as a whole. His outstanding blocking also earned him Connecticut High School Coaches Association All-State accolades and First Team All-FCIAC honors.
