
With the season just past the midway point, the Greenwich High School girls golf team certainly has plenty to feel positive about.
The Cardinals have soared to a 5-1 record to start the season, their latest two wins coming against Fairfield Ludlowe and Fairfield Warde.
Greenwich registered a decisive 183-241 win over Ludlowe on Tuesday at Smith Richardson Golf Course in Fairfield. Freshman Ally Bauer earned medalist honors for the Cardinals, shooting a 39 over nine holes.
Sophomore Charlotte Langhorne carded a 47, while sophomore Caroline McShea also had a round of 47 for Greenwich. Senior Ella Fish shot a 50 for the victors.

On Wednesday, Bauer was also the medalist, posting a score of 41 in Greenwich’s 176-237 triumph against Fairfield Ludlowe at Griffith E. Harris Golf Course in Greenwich.
Langhorne and McShea each shot a 44, while teammate Zarah Hillman, a sophomore, carded a 47.
Coached by Taner Karakas, Greenwich is in action again Tuesday against Danbury at Griffith E. Harris Golf Course.
