Peter Lewis’ senior season as a member of the Greenwich High School boys ice hockey team ended with honors – All-FCIAC honors.

A senior defenseman, Lewis earned 2022-2023 All-FCIAC Boys Hockey Division I Second Team honors. Lewis, who served as one of the Cardinals captains, helped key the team’s defensive unit. He spearheaded Greenwich’s strong defensive effort throughout the season, including the postseason tournaments.

The Cardinals won two games in the CIAC Division I State Tournament to advance to the semifinal-round, where it lost to eventual champion Fairfield Prep, the No. 2 seed. Greenwich also made it to the FCIAC Tournament semifinals.

Lewis also displayed his strong shot from the blue line and effective passing skills during the season, resulting in key goals for the Cardinals. He spent several seasons honing his skills for Greenwich’s varsity squad.
