
Excelling on the mound and at the plate, Brunswick School’s baseball team registered a 9-4 win over visiting King School this past Tuesday in a key FAA game.
The victory raised the Bruins’ record to 4-2 in the FAA and 9-4 overall. Senior right-hander Player Crosby received the start on the mound and turned in another stellar pitching performance.

Crosby allowed two runs in 4 2/3 innings to earn the win. He struck out seven in the victory. Seniors Sam Sealy and Liam Butler combined for 2 2 2/3 innings of pitching relief.
They combined for six strikeouts to help propel the Bruins in the league matchup.

At the plate, the Bruins were powered by Crosby, Seal and sophomore Connor Jones, who each had two hits and two RBIs.
Senior Boston Flannery and sophomore Jackson Shepelsky recorded two hits apiece for Brunswick, which snapped a two-game losing streak with the FAA win.

Currently, the Bruins are in second place in the FAA with a 4-2 mark. Hamden Hall is in first place at 6-0. Brunswick hosts rival Hamden Hall Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in a crucial late-season league matchup.
The Bruins will then host Salisbury School Friday at 4:15 p.m.
