
The National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association recently announced its list of 2022-2023 Girls One-Meter Diving All-America athletes and Grace Wu graced the list once again.
A Greenwich resident and rising Greenwich Academy senior, Wu earned NISCA Girls One-Meter All-America Diving honors for the second straight year.

Wu dives for Greenwich Academy during the winter season and competes throughout the year for the Greenwich YMCA Marlins Diving Club throughout the year.
She produced another standout season for Greenwich Academy during the 2022-2023 winter campaign on the 1-meter diving board. Wu defended her title at the New England Prep School Swimming Association Division I Championships at Deerfield Academy this past winter.
At the 2023 NEPSAA Championships, Wu captured the diving title, amassing 496.55 points over 11 rounds of diving.

The 2022 NEPSAA Division I Championships saw Wu claim the championship with a score of 488.20 points, also earning her NISCA All-America honors.
Following the 2023 NEPSSA Division I Championships this match March Wu said: “I’m so happy with my performance at New Englands this year,” Wu said. “Diving for GA is always a great experience because our team culture is truly special. The support and energy of my teammates and coach are reflected in each of my eleven dives, so I’m very grateful to have dove with them throughout another rewarding season.”

The 2023 FAA Diving Championships saw Wu win the title. She totaled 494.35 points on her way to earning the gold medal. At the 2023 YMCA National Championships, held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Wu earned the gold medal in the girls 16-21 year-old age group in the 1-meter springboard.
Wu was one of three Connecticut high school girls divers to earn NISCA All-America honors. Hannah Chuckas of Westhill/Stamford, a 2023 graduate and Alison Coburn, a 2023 graduate of Conard also received NISCA All-America recognition.
