Once again, Greenwich Academy’s Varsity A lacrosse team has reached its final destination.
Two-time defending FAA Lacrosse Tournament champion Greenwich Academy earned another berth in the league tournament final by defeating Greens Farms Academy in the semifinal-round on May 12th at GA’s Tammaro Field.
The top-seeded Gators defeated Dragons in a hard-fought, defensive battle, 6-5, in the FAA semifinals. Greenwich Academy hosts second-seeded Rye Country Day School today (May 14th) at 4:30 p.m. in the FAA Tournament final.

Greenwich Academy, which has won the FAA Tournament championship the past two seasons, received two goals from senior captain Perry Casazza in the semifinal-round victory versus Greens Farms.
GA received one goal apiece from Taylor Bruce, Delaney Enright and Maddie Lane in the semifinal-round triumph.
The Gators received impressive goaltending from sophomore Lauren Connell. Connell made six saves to help lead Greenwich Academy’s defensive effort in this tight matchup.
