Greenwich junior forward/center Chason Barber was selected as a member of the All-FCIAC Basketball Team. The 6-foot-5 Barber earned Second Team All-FCIAC honors and was named to the FCIAC’s All-Defensive Team.

Barber had a breakout junior season for the Cardinals. He established himself as a scoring threat in the low post, displaying a variety of effective moves in the paint. Barber led the team in scoring several games and helped pace the team in rebounding on both ends of the court.

On defense, he emerged as a shot blocker and a consistent rebounder. He also provided strong defense in the low post for the Cardinals. Barber will be one of Greenwich’s returning players next season. Greenwich advanced to the quarterfinal-round of the FCIAC Tournament this past season, where it was edged by Fairfield Warde in overtime.
