Greenwich boys golf team tops Ludlowe, improves its record to 4-0

Greenwich’s boys golf team continued its strong start to the season Tuesday, defeating Fairfield Ludlowe, 148-181, in an FCIAC matchup at Griffith E. Harris Golf Course in Greenwich.

Junior Charles Schrohe paced the Cardinals, shooting an impressive 36 over nine holes at The Griff. John Spadone, a senior, carded a 37, as did sophomore Owen Duda for Greenwich, which raised its record to 4-0.

Luke Scanlan, a senior, had a round of 38 for Greenwich, which has also posted victories against Brien McMahon, Norwalk and Westhill. Greenwich plays Danbury today at Griffith E. Harris Golf Course at 3:30 p.m. The Cardinals will then play Fairfield Warde at Smith Richardson Golf Course on Sept. 21. They will then face Wilton on Sept. 22 at Rolling Hills Country Club.
