Sacred Heart Greenwich improved its record to 2-1 with a tight 3-1 road victory over Hamden Hall Country Day School in an FAA volleyball match held on Monday.
The Tigers won the match by set scores of 25-23, 25-22, 22-25, 25-17.
Emilia Bernal tallied 24 assists and two kills, while Martina Bernal posted eight kills, six aces, 11 digs to pace Sacred Heart. Kaitlin Robinson recorded two blocks, six kills and aces for the Tigers, who also received
six kills, three aces and two digs from Cait Haggerty and four kills and two blocks from Jane Murphy.
Sacred Heart visits NEPSAC foe Choate Rosemary Hall on Wednesday in Wallingford for a NEPSAC matchup.
