Brunswick hosted Deerfield on Cos Cob Harbor in a match-up of the defending NEIRA (New England Interscholastic Rowing Association) champions in the boys eights and fours, respectively. Deerfield is the defending USRowing Youth National Champions and have won eight straight NEIRA titles in the coxed four. This year, Deerfield switched from the fours to the eights.
Brunswick’s first eight boat was able to get out to an early lead and never relinquished it.
