
Another unbeaten week continued the Greenwich High School girls golf team’s undefeated season.
The Cardinals improved their record to a perfect 10-0 by earning victories against FCIAC foes Staples and Ridgefield in matches held at Griffith E. Harris Golf Course in Greenwich.
Greenwich defeated Staples on Tuesday at Griffith E. Harris Golf Course, 175-201 and registered a 183-228 win over Ridgefield on Thursday at The Griff.
Against Staples, junior Bella Crasto shot a 9-hole score of 43 to pace Greenwich. Junior Charlotte Langhorne, sophomore Ally Bauer and junior Caroline McShea each carded a 44 to also lead the Cardinals.

On Thursday versus the Wreckers, McShea led the Cards with a round of 41, while Langhorne shot a 45. Bauer finished with a 48 and Crasto posted a score of 49.
Greenwich’s home victories at Griffith E. Harris Golf Course have come against New Canaan, St. Joseph, Fairfield Ludlowe, Staples and Ridgefield. Their road wins were against Wilton, Fairfield Warde, Darien, Danbury and Trumbull.
The Cardinals have two more matches left in the regular season, before they compete in the FCIAC Tournament. They host Danbury on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at The Griff, then visit Staples at Longshore Golf Course in Westport on Wednesday.
